The Statement
As you most likely know, we are definitely living in the 'last days' before the inevitable return of the King - our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. Now, because there isn't much time left before that happens, our enemy (Satan), is doing all he can, to discredit and destroy as much as he can, in an effort to take as many with him as he can. Therefore, we must do what WE can, to keep that from happening.
With that in mind, as stewards of this potentially far-reaching ministry, God has charged us to be vigilant; making sure that everything related to the entire ministry, is screwed on absolutely straight, with no cross threading - whatsoever. To that end, we would like to help set your mind at ease, as to just what that might mean.
Below are the basic tenets (or statement of faith) that this outreach ministry exclusively follows, as found in God's own Word (the Bible):
Speaking of God's own Word - it's the best place to start.
We believe that the Bible is the only inspired, inerrant, Holy and totally trustworthy Word of God. We also believe that God says what He means, and means what He says. Therefore, we look to the Holy Bible as our supreme, unmediated, and final authority of our faith and practice.
With that, we believe in one God, who is the Creator and Sustainer of all things (including this ministry); that our God is infinitely perfect and that He eternally co-exists in three persons - God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe that the true Jesus is not only the Son of God, but God incarnate; who, born of a virgin, came to live among men; that He was brutally beaten and then crucified on a cross in our place, taking the penalty of our sins onto Himself; that on the third day, He rose from the dead taking back the power of death and Hell, proving once and for all, that He is who He said He is. He ascended into heaven alive and well and in bodily form, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father; and that He will return in bodily form to the earth, just as He promised.
We also believe that He sent His Holy Spirit to indwell every born-again believer. He is to seal and keep us until Jesus comes back to get us. He is also to teach, comfort, convict, guide and encourage us in our daily Christian walk.
In addition, we believe that God has set it up that by praying a simple and sincere prayer of repentance (asking Jesus to forgive us of our sins, and asking Him to come into our heart to be our Lord and Savior), we will be born again (like getting a fresh start in life, only this time, it's with God), so that our soul will be "saved" forever from the consequences of eternal torments of living in Hell, and from being separated from God - forever.
We also know that it's by God's gift of grace alone that we are saved; not by our own works (or performance) or words. If it were not so, we would boast and brag about how it is we saved ourselves - when in fact, we are totally incapable of doing so.
